The Bible Q & A Genesis (Sodom and Gomorrah)

Hi, Amazing People,

Genesis 18:21
I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me and if not I will know.

Here the LORD was speaking to Abraham along with three Angels which he sent to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. And then it's written in 22nd verse that the Angels, turned their faces towards Sodom and Gomorrah but the LORD was still standing with Abraham. And then Abraham asked LORD will you destroy righteous with the wicked? If there would be 50 righteous people will they also be destroyed?

And the LORD replied to Abraham if there would be fifty righteous people in Sodom and Gomorrah I will spare the whole city for them. And then Abraham said to the LORD that I am dust and soil in front of you but if among those fifty, 5 are not righteous will you still destroy the whole city? Then the LORD replied if there would be forty-five righteous in the city,  then also I will spare them.

    Their conversation went on an…

Bible Q & A Genesis (Journey of Abraham 6)

Hi, Amazing People,

Genesis 18: 1
And the LORD appeared unto him(Abraham) in the plains of Mamre, and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.

Here the LORD appeared in front of Abraham and when he lifted up his eyes he saw three men standing there, he ran to them from the tent to meet them and bowed himself toward the ground. And then he prayed my LORD if now I have found favour in your eyes then, please don't go anywhere, let me fetch a little water for you, after washing your feet take a little rest in the shed of the tree.

Abraham then requested them to also have bread and comfort their hearts, they replied to him to do as he wished. And Abraham rushed to Sarah and asked her to prepare a meal for three and then he rushed to his servant and gave him a young tender calf to cook. Abraham brought butter, milk and the calf and served it to them and then they had eaten.

While they were eating they asked Abraham where is your wife Sarah? He replied to them that s…

Bible Q & A Genesis (Journey of Abraham 5)

Hi, Amazing People,

Genesis Chapter 17:1
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the almighty GOD walk before me and be thou perfect.

These were the words of GOD for Abram when he was speaking to him, Further LORD said that I am making a covenant with you that I will multiply you exceedingly. And then Abram bowed down to GOD and LORD kept on saying that this is my covenant with you that you will be a father of many nations.

LORD said from now onwards, your name shall be Abraham and not Abram as you will be a father of many nations and kings shall come out of you. LORD added that this is my covenant which I have established with you and with your future generations that I will be their GOD forever, like I am, of you.

LORD said that I will give this Canaan country to you in which you are living like a non-resident forever, and in this land, your generations would also live. And GOD said to Abraham keep this covenant for…

Bible Q & A Genesis (Journey of Abraham 4)

Hi, Amazing People,

So as we all know that LORD promised Abram, that he would make him a father of generations, but his wife Sarai was barren. Then how GOD made it happen?  Let's find out.

Genesis Chapter 16: 1
Now Sarai Abram's wife bares him no children, and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Abram's wife Sarai knew that she can't bear any child, and she was having a maid with her from Egypt. Her name was Hagar. Sarai convinced Abram to get married to Hagar so that they can have a child through her.

Abram got convinced by her wife Sarai and married Hagar, and then Hagar got pregnant and after she realized that she is pregnant she started to develop a sense of jealousy for Sarai. When Sarai realised what is there on Hagar's mind she spoke to Abram and told him that I gave her to you as your wife but now she is disrespecting me, so LORD should provide his judgment between you and me.

Then Abram said to Sarai that your maid is in your hand s…
